Dear all,

Following the advice of Moody, I found the following two web sites. Hope it is helpful to bothers and sisters especially the leaders of our Bible study group.

On last Bible study night, we also came across the discussion of ENVY, JEALOUS, 嫉妒. Attached is a word searching I did.
In a summary, I think our Chinese words 嫉妒 is more negtive, it involves 恨. But English explaination is more soft and positive - it is unhappy and angry.

Therefore, I agree that our God is a English 嫉妒的神, but not Chinese one. May I suggest, in future, in our community, we say, I am a bit of English (or Chinese)jealousy. In this way, we will avoid the misunderstanding, espcially between LH and CD etc.
